A message from Rick:
I want to thank you for visiting our online
campaign headquarters for my candidacy to California’s 80th Assembly
District!
I was born and raised in a rural farming community
located in the heart of the Imperial Valley and attended Brawley’s local
public schools and was active in student government and athletics,
participating in football, baseball, and wrestling in high school.
I earned a Bachelors degree from San Diego State
University where I studied Political Science and from there moved to
pursue a career in the nation’s capital, Washington, DC. where I worked
in the White House and in the United States House of Representatives.
Coming back to the Valley---the Coachella and Imperial
Valley needs a representative from the Valley that can reach across the
aisle and get the job done—and that is why I have decided to run for the
State Assembly to earn your trust and your support to represent you at
our State Capitol!
